Lake Stevens QB Blake Moser Picks Up Third D1 Football Scholarship Offer

The 2027 star adds Portland State to list that includes Idaho and Montana. Watch: J425 Moser video edit.

LAKE STEVENS — The great Viking QB BLAKE MOSER picked up his third D1 college football scholarship offer this week from the Portland State Vikings. PSU joins Idaho and Montana in offering the Lake Stevens 2027 returning All State QB.

Moser, who ran a laser-timed 4.41 40 at UA NEXT in Arizona earlier this Spring, recently wrapped a solid junior campaign on the diamond, leading Wesco 4A in hitting (.421) and slugging percentage (.649). Oregon and Oregon State are keeping a close eye on Moser in baseball.

J425 hears Idaho and Montana have Moser as their top QB recruit. Oregon State football came to Lake Stevens this month and worked the 6’ 185 lb QB out on the home turf. Moser attended Junior Day at WSU and OSU.

WSU recently accepted the commitment of Anacortes signal caller Ryan Harrington, leaving Moser as one of the top uncommitted 2027 QBs on the West Coast.

Iowa State and San Jose State are also recruiting the Viking passer, who piled up 55 TDs in route to a 13-1 record in his first year as a varsity starter at Lake. The Viks, likely to be ranked 1st in 4A preseason, open at home against Graham-Kapowsin, likely #2 or #3 in the preseadon 4A poll.

This clip includes Moser’s game winning 4th&1 TD run against G-K in the Viks’ last home game, a state semifinal win over G-K 44-35 final.

Moser passed for 236 yards and 2 TD and rushed for 129 yards on 13 carries (2 TD) in that win before closing out the year with a scintillating 5 TD performance on Montlake where Lake lost a heartbreaker instant-classic to Sumner, 41-35 in OT.

Moser is currently rated a three star prospect with a grade of 83.

J425 expects Moser to end up with double digit offers and a 4 star rating when all is said and done.
