SNOHOMISH COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT — A Superior Court judge rejected the agreed plea deal and recommended sentence brought forward by prosecutors and the Julian Willis defense team Tuesday after the victim in the case testified that she didn’t agree with the “low-end” sentence arrangement the state and defense had seemingly locked into place for the former Kamiak teacher and football coach / slash / convicted sex offender.
The victim and her mother addressed the court and told of the impacts that Willis’ crimes have had on their lives.
