The Lake Stevens Museum has photos of a frozen Lake Stevens. In his biography, Jim Mitchell writes of driving a pickup truck across the frozen lake.
It’s been below freezing since Sunday and we’ve set two records for all-time low high temperatures (17 & 19 on Monday and Tuesday respectively)…and we’ve got nearly a foot of snow on the ground in places…but there’s not a shred of ice around the lake.
So what would it take for the lake to start to freeze over?
