The undefeated Wesco Champion Lake Stevens Vikings top the WIAA RPI rankings and are likely to gain the top seed in the 4A playoffs. The Vikings will host an opening round playoff game.

In a change to the previous format, a WIAA committee now seeds playoff qualifiers into a bracket, a la the NCAA basketball tournament.

A major factor in the seeding is the WIAA’s proprietary RPI ranking system, which ranks the Vikings first in 4A, followed by Eastlake, Bothell, Kamiakin and Graham-Kapowsin (G-K).

G-K has occupied the top spot in the AP Poll all season.

AP ranks the Vikings second.
