GBB: Four Vikings Make All Wesco
Nisa Ellis, Kiera Tupua, Ella Edens and Perla Ruiz all named to the 2023 All Wesco team by a vote of opposing coaches

As the Vikings take the court tonight with a berth to State on the line, they’ll do so with the knowledge that four of their players earned All-Wesco recognition by a vote of opposing coaches.
Junior forward Nisa Ellis earned First Team honors, averaging just short of 18 points and over 14 rebounds a game. The six foot forward is within reach of the school’s single season rebound mark, and could set a new standard tonight.
Freshman guard Keira Tupua’s scorching-hot post-holiday play earned the Cavelero Colt student and Viking sixth man a unique honor – the standout soccer and basketball star earned First Team All-Wesco honors before she even began high school. Over the last nine games, Tupua is averaging over 14 points five boards and four steals a game off the bench.
Standout senior guards Ella Edens and Perla Ruiz both earned Second Team All-Wesco recognition. Both backcourt stars are in their fourth year as Viking varsity performers.
