Viking Pitching Leads Way in 3-2 Win Over Burlington Friday
Lake Stevens Baseball moves to 2-1 behind strong start from Luke Morris. Blake Moser doubled, stole two bases and picked up the save.
LAKE STEVENS — Viking baseball continued to throw the ball well, rebounding from an extra-inning loss to Blanchet Friday with a fundamentally-sound and tightly managed 3-2 win over Burlington-Edison. Luke Morris started the game for Lake Stevens (2-1) and recorded 19 outs, pitching into the seventh.
Morris struck out 10 batters, scattering eight hits and two runs over six and one-third innings while walking one.
Cleanup hitter Seth Danielson opened the scoring for the Viks, singling and scoring Aspen Alexander. (See highlight above.)
