LAKE STEVENS — Viking baseball continued to throw the ball well, rebounding from an extra-inning loss to Blanchet Friday with a fundamentally-sound and tightly managed 3-2 win over Burlington-Edison. Luke Morris started the game for Lake Stevens (2-1) and recorded 19 outs, pitching into the seventh.

Morris struck out 10 batters, scattering eight hits and two runs over six and one-third innings while walking one.

Cleanup hitter Seth Danielson opened the scoring for the Viks, singling and scoring Aspen Alexander. (See highlight above.)

Danielson went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Lake Stevens in hits. (Story continues after the jump, videos, pics, box score)
