Grey day, feels like Fall, let's get right to it.

 - The Herald's Mike Cane reports that Marysville-Pilchuck is hemorrhaging talent and Juanita of Kirkland is the beneficiary. What in the name of Kavario Middleton is going on in Marysville? Something is rotten in Denmark, me thinks. Pretty defensive quotes from the AD.

 - Cane also has this nice video interview with our own Duke Dolphin. Gotta admit that Cane is really on his game this year. Make sure you subscribe to his blog and follow him @heraldnetpreps

 - The incomparable Doug Pacey lists five things to watch in the state HS football scene this year. Follow Doug's work @TNTpreps.

 - Pacey also has this nice link roundup from around the state, once again featuring Mike Cane.

 - As sure as Summer inevitably turns to Fall, inevitably Ron Siegel "The Man Who Knows Where They Are" (what a effing terrible nickname. And who gave that to him? Did he come up with it himself? TMWKWTA needs a PR consultant) has released his somewhat comprehensive list of the top seniors and juniors in the state. Lake's Brandon Preslar gets a nod in the also-ran category. Obviously I am not too impressed with this list (Bothell's Colin Porter was snubbed last year...even though he was one of the top ten OL in the country and Kingco Offensive Player of the Year...as a lineman...) Glad that Sunshine at least got a mention though.

All for now.
