It’s a busy time in local news with elections approaching, high school football headed towards the playoffs, star players receiving scholarship offers, and multiple bomb cyclones off the coast. That said, this week’s top stories revolved around reporting Lake Stevens School District’s new transgender students policy (our story received over a thousand reads and 120+ comments on social media), the implementation of the statewide vaccine mandate and its affects on local agencies, and the second-ranked undefeated Vikings’ record-setting 91-6 route at Jackson last week.
