The Subarea Plan

In 2010, the City Council adopted a longterm economic development strategy that focused on dividing the greater Lake Stevens area into specific “growth centers” in order to, as city documents put it: “enhance opportunities for economic success that support the community and visitors.”  

Since then, the city has adopted three subarea plans…
