The rocky tenure of Lake Stevens Public Works Director Eric Durpos appears to be at an end.
City Council members approved a severance agreement for Durpos Tuesday night, the terms of which aren’t available at this time.
Durpos and a public works subordinate have been on paid leave for over three months after an incident in a grievance hearing, after which the subordinate was granted a protection order against Durpos.
