So the Wesco coaches predict a first place finish for the Vikings, followed closely by the Snohomish Panthers - with Oak Harbor a little further back in third (receiving zero first place votes).
Yet the Seattle Times has the Oak Harbor Wildcats rated 7th in the State in its first weekly 4A power rankings.
So does this mean the Vikings are a potential top ten team in the State? Does this mean that Oak Harbor - which has claimed four of the last five Wesco crowns - is living on reputation outside of opposing coaches film rooms?
Or does this mean everything is a crapshoot until we see action under the Friday night lights?
