Murder Charges Filed in Slaying of Jayda Woods-Johnson

SNOHOMISH COUNTY COURTHOUSE — Minutes ago, the Snohomish County Prosecutor filed murder charges against 16-year-old Samuel Gizaw for fatally shooting Jayda Woods-Johnson at the Alderwood Mall last Wednesday.
A $2-million warrant for the former Kamiak student’s arrest was just issued.
Prosecutors will likely ask for a higher bond amount than the $500,000 amount which Gizaw was able to post Friday.
Prosecutors tell the court that the defendant “clearly has access to multiple guns and associates with individuals who also appear to have guns”.
An affidavit filed in support of the charges states that after bail was initially set, detectives found screenshots of Gizlaw
