Major Crimes Investigating “Suspicious Death in Lake Stevens”

Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit Detectives on scene of apparent homicide

LAKE STEVENS — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating a suspicious death in rural Lake Stevens, according to a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office.

The investigation began late Monday, when deputies responded to an aid call at the 11800 block of 84th Ave NE (Getchell Road) in unincorporated Snohomish County.

Location of death.

Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased female in circumstances that appeared suspicious; detectives were summoned.
