Lake Stevens Eagle Scout Gives Back to His Middle School
Braden Carr’s custom trophy case puts Zion Lutheran’s awards of recognition on display

Seventeen-year-old Braden Carr of Lake Stevens recently completed an Eagle Scout Project dedicated to properly displaying the trophies and achievements earned by the middle school of which he is a proud alumnus: Zion Lutheran School in Lake Stevens.
While attending Zion, Braden noticed the school had received numerous trophies and items of recognition over the years, but that without a place to display them, the trophies sat out of sight, gathering dust on office shelves for decades.
So for his Eagle Scout Project, Braden decided to build Zion a trophy case.
After seeking donations from local businesses, Braden set about constructing a solid wood custom trophy case worthy of the awards his former school had earned over the years.
