Vikings Fly Past Eagles as Matson & Limar Pile Up Four TDs Each 

AUBURN — The top-ranked Lake Stevens Vikings (3-0, #1 4A) didn’t let a strange start time (4pm Saturday) sap their motivation, the Vikings looked sharp as ever in jumping out to a five TD lead in the first half. 

Stepping up big was junior RB Jayshon Limar who had the best day of his young career, scoring on runs of 4, 8 and 26 yards while adding a 24-yard TD catch. 

Kolton Matson had four more touchdowns to add to his pile (Season: 12 passing 3 rushing) — a couple through the air and two via the ground; Paul Varela had a TD catch and several long returns; Steven Lee, Jr had a 92-yard TD return — the Vikings’ longest scoring play thus far and freshman WR Seth Price logged his first varsity score. 

Lake Stevens took off to a 35-0 lead mid second quarter, running clock was employed after half.
