Haven’t done a J425 Culture post in a while but I really think todays selection fits the qualification of only sending you the very best and most important stuff out there that you may otherwise miss.


LAKE STEVENS — What I’ve got for you today: the moment when a popular youtuber / amateur physicist takes advantage of the fact that’s he’s got the entire NASA manned-moon voyage team sitting in front of him with nowhere to go. I suppose they were expecting a team building speech or something but what they get instead is a startling wake up call.

And that’s why we all need to watch this. Because we’re being told that we’ve basically misplaced the way to the moon.

Excuses like “we threw away the notes” are passed off as legit when NASA engineers are pressed on why they are having difficulty conceiving a redux of the Apollo missions — feats that we completed almost 50 years ago!!!

And the fact that we no longer have access to key data from the Apollo mission isn’t the headline here.
