I'll be tweeting live from the game. Follow me at hul10 or use the widget on our blog to get real time updates. I'll also be filming with the Flip Cam, Mike Anderton will be in the press box on stats and the game story, and Rob Carlson will be behind the lens. I think we've got this one covered. I'll be back post game with some analysis and stats.
Wesco Picks
Usually I'll devote a post and a breakdown to each game, but I don't feel knowledgeable enough to do that at this early stage of the season. So here we go (by the way, we went 67-24 on our Wesco predictions last year, so feel free to call up Vegas)
Marysville-Pilchuck at Shorecrest - I like the Tommies to win on the road behind Austin Denton, but it will be a closer than you might think. M-P, 24-17.
Jackson at Stanwood - Supposedly, this is gonna be a close game between two powers. I only see one power. The folks in Mill Creek will be feeling quite Gay after this one. Jackson, 38-10 behind big performances from Andy Gay and Riley Carr.
Arlington at Glacier Peak - Game of the week. I like GP to live up to some of the hype in front of the home crowd, but I wouldn't bet against Jake Parduhn and company. GP, 33-27.
Mountlake Terrace at Lynnwood - I guess someone has to win. M-T, 6-3.
Everett at Bishop Blanchett - No idea here. We'll back the local boys though. Gulls fly on the road, 17-14.
Shorewood at Monroe - Bleh. Bearcats start hot, 3-2.
Oak Harbor at Cascade - Tough draw for the Wildcats, but I'll back 'em behind their bevy of seniors until they prove me wrong. OH, 22-13.
Meadowdale at Edmonds-Woodway - Heck of a matchup here between two possible division winners. When in doubt, take the home team. Big games from QB Andy Wilcock and RB Jimmy Spears leads E-W, 31-30.
Bonus Pick:
Dawgs 37, Bayou Bengals 32 - A guy can dream, can't he? Woof!!!
