Without warning, Comcast dropped their scheduled coverage of Jackson at Lake Stevens and instead gave us Kamiak @ E-W, the third time they have covered 1-4 Kamiak already.
I emailed Comcast this morning when I found out, here is their response:

Hi Kevin,
THANK YOU very much for your email. I was not aware of this. Due to the fact that these games take a large crew, we have a production company that shoots these games and delivers them to us, and I've already asked for information on this specific game. I will get back to you asap.
I know the Varsity On Demand camera crew would not cancel this without a good reason.
You'll hear from me soon. Again, I'm really sorry. Being a sports fan and a fellow editor, I can understand your frustration.

Hi Shauna,
I have a question/concern about your varsity sports on demand schedule. When your varsity sports football on demand schedule was published in September, Jackson at Lake Stevens was listed as a game you would cover on October 3.
Your schedule available through on demand reflected this as well- as late as last week.
We went to press and told our readers to access Comcast On Demand the weekend after the game, and we provided detailed instructions through our site as to how customers should navigate on demand to find the game. We also plugged Comcast for providing this service.
Today, I received several angry emails. It seems your schedule has changed without notice, and Comcast decided to cover Kamiak @ Edmonds-Woodway instead. This is the third Kamiak game your network has added to the schedule. Considering the fact that Kamiak is a 1-4 team, I can't think of any reason you would switch off your scheduled game between to top ranked teams to provide an unscheduled Kamiak game.
Needless to say, we feel like we provided a disservice to our readership by plugging your services when Comcast did not deliver what was promised. When Comcast publishes a schedule they should live up to it. Our site will now have to run an apology and clarification to our readers. In the future, we will not publish anything related to Comcast services, because obviously Comcast does not feel an obligation to follow through with the services they advertise. Even worse, there was no notification or change of schedule, just a classic bait-and-switch.
You owe your customers an apology.
