In Spokane, Transportation Benefit District revenue is used to augment unscheduled improvements like repairing salt damaged roadway.

The Lake Stevens City Council will ask voters to approve a two-tenths of one percent sales tax increase dedicated to initiating a Transportation Benefit District (TBD) on the November 8, 2022 General Election ballot.
