The Lake Stevens Vikings routed the Kamiakin Braves 48-7 in a State Semifinal playoff game in Lake Stevens Saturday.
MONTLAKE, WASH. — It’ll be a 2021 title game rematch next Saturday — in better surroundings — as the second-seeded Lake Stevens Vikings (12-1) meet top seed Graham Kapowsin (13-0) in Husky Stadium with a state title on the line. Kickoff is 7pm.
And although G-K carries the one seed and the unbeaten record, make no mistake — Lake Stevens is the heavy favorite after laying waste to an entire side of the WIAA 4A bracket. To whit:
The Viking starting defense has not been scored upon in the playoffs. Through four games.
