Aquafest Main Events: Kids, Grand & Boat Parades
With Lake Stevens’ summer festival starting Friday, J425 has a flyer for you with parade times — and a page you can bookmark for updated daily Aquafest info.
Aquafest - Lake Stevens’ three-day annual summer festival starts Friday at noon. The festival is a celebration of the lake and the community and features a variety of activities and events for all ages.
The first Aquafest was held in 1968 - the work of a group of locals who wanted to create a community event that celebrated Lake Stevens. Today, Aquafest is one of the largest summer festivals in Western Washington, drawing tens of thousands from all over the region.
Aquafest is a family-friendly event with something for everyone. Signature events include parades, (usually) carnival rides, food vendors, arts and crafts booths, live music, and fireworks.
See below for an overview. Aquafest.com has the details. Bookmark J425’s Aquafest 2023 page (or see homepage) at www.thejournal425.com/aquafest2023 for schedule and daily info.
